Importance of Reading the Bible
Many Christians start each year with the goal of reading through the entire Bible in a year. While some achieve this goal, many don't. Others don't bother to read God’s Word at all. This is a major issue. Why is it important to regularly read Scripture? Understanding your options The Bible is the first and most important resource for understanding God and His will for your life. Romans tells us that there are some things we can learn about God through general revelation. People can learn about God's power, divine nature and divinity without Scripture by studying creation (Romans 1:120). They are also able to know God's law as it is written in their hearts (Romans 2:4-15). There is a huge difference between knowing God and knowing God personally. Everybody knows something about God.
